Howdy! My name is A.B. and I’m a queer, nonbinary therapist born and raised right here in Texas. Don’t let the folksy exterior fool you: growing up in a small town taught me to treat strangers like family, to uplift and respect the folks around me, and, as my granddad always said, “If you can help ’em, then help ’em.” I’ve brought those values into my therapy work and left the bigotry and systemic oppression behind like the hogwash it is. I practice from a place of cultural humility, guided by the stories, strengths, and values my clients bring to the table. You’re the expert on your life, I’m just here to walk alongside you, bringing the tools I’ve got in my toolbelt to help you navigate whatever’s weighing you down. There’s nothing too big we can’t face together, and I trust that with you in the lead, we can work toward the outcomes you’re hoping for in therapy. I specialize in supporting clients through trauma, grief, mood disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, neurodivergence, identity exploration, crisis recovery, and relationship challenges. I also love working with children and their families around emotional regulation, school and family stress, and communication. I’ve got a soft spot for neurodivergent kids (and adults!) and bring a lot of energy and creativity into that work. In session, I pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused, narrative, and collaborative therapies, plus a lot more. So don’t be surprised if I throw in a little art-making, somatic work, or IFS (parts work) now and then. I’m committed to being a lifelong learner, and if something isn’t clicking, I’ll work with you to find what does. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2023, and before that, I got my B.A. in Theatre Education. So I’m definitely open to getting creative in sessions, though just plain talkin’ is great, too. Outside of therapy, I love baking, storytelling in all its forms (theatre, concerts, poetry slams, and tabletop RPGs), and learning about folks whose lives are different from mine. I also enjoy spending time with my partner and our beloved pets Pip, Charlie, and Winston. If you think I might be the right counselor for you, I’d be honored to meet you. Feel free to email me at ab@vadacounseling.com or schedule a free consultation online.
Hello! I’m Dr. Harriet Singelyn (she/her) and I provide trauma-informed online therapy to women in Texas who are looking to manage their anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and burnout. You pay close attention to mood shifts in your environment, and feel pressure to keep the peace. You are a “people pleaser” who struggles to set boundaries with yourself and others. You feel anxious in relationships and often worry about how you are perceived. You are a perfectionist and hold yourself to a high standard, but when your expectations are unmet, you blame yourself. You feel burned out or even depressed, and no matter how hard you work, you feel like you’re not good enough. If any of the above sounds familiar to you, then we may be a good fit! My main areas of focus include: -Women’s mental health -Self-compassion and self-esteem -Anxiety and perfectionism -Depression and burnout -Relational trauma -LGBTQ+ mental health with a particular expertise in bi+ affirming care -Support for loved ones of people with substance use disorders -Support for adult children of emotionally immature parents I utilize a variety of evidence based techniques and therapeutic styles to help my clients get unstuck and feel better including: -Psychodynamic therapy -Somatic techniques -Parts work -Emotion-focused therapy -DBT skill building -Trauma-informed therapy -Mindful self-compassion The above list can be fit into this nutshell: I bring authenticity (personality, humor, and humanness) into my work and enjoy helping folks like you get curious about who they are, what they need, and how they cope. My style of therapy is a mix of focusing on the present moment (what you think, feel, and need during session), getting curious about the past (how your experiences impact you now), and building new skills to get you where you want to be. It’s time to build a loving relationship with yourself. Here’s the good news: you don’t have to do this on your own. Contact me today to get started!

Do you struggle with just being yourself these days? Well, kick off your shoes, relax, put up your feet, let's get real and talk. Many people see therapy as a never ending cycle of therapists sitting with a notepad repeating, "How does that make you feel?". I can assure therapy with me is never a cliche. I know how easy it is to feel alone and always asking why me. Some days it's easy to feel trapped looking for the fastest escape. Others you want to burst into tears or moments you feel like you're making all the wrong choices. I can understand if you need a break and want to scream. I'm here to help. Let's explore those issues you may be struggling with together and take back control of your life.
My passion is in working with women struggling with relationships and balancing family and other priorities. I use a respectful, direct and collaborative approach in my sessions and believe that interpersonal relationships are a key factor in successfully navigating life. Transitions and challenges can offer us an opportunity to find greater understanding of purpose, more meaningful relationships, and increased confidence and personal gratification. I understand how difficult the process of counseling can be, but I also know the rewards that come from true healing. I am a Christian Counselor who brings extensive expertise in working with women struggling with issues such as marriage struggles, singleness, divorce, anxiety, codependency, communication, infertility/adoption/new moms. I also specialize in helping to navigate struggles with having a child with a diagnosis of Autism and I am a certified PEERS group leader. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor in the State of Texas and have been practicing for 19 years. I received my master's degree in counseling from Dallas Baptist University and also completed a master's degree (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary. I'm also certified to use "Prepare and Enrich" for pre-marital and marriage counseling.

Hi! My name is Mandy Schramm. I've been working in the mental health field since 2015, but practicing counseling since 2020. I'm currently an LPC at Soluna Mental Health in the Woodlands, TX. I have Master's degrees in both Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, postpartum concerns ineffective coping skills, poor social supports, and trauma. Most of my clients have struggled with unresolved trauma resulting in mental or behavioral issues. I aim to provide a safe space for those who are struggling to process the root of their issues so that they can adopt healthy coping skills to implement in their daily lives. Your past does not have to define you! Give yourself the opportunity you deserve to grow from your experiences and shape your future.
If you're looking for a therapist who'll be your biggest hype girl but also call you out on your bullshit, I’ve got you. My sessions are 75-min because it gives us the time we need to go a little deeper. If you’ve got anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, and/or run of the mill existential angst, I’ve been there, so we’ll probably be a good fit. Text me and we’ll set up a time to chat.
With both the high and on-going demands of college, you may have noticed your body is struggling with things like headaches, knots in your back or shoulders and/or GI disteess. Behavioral medicine counseling can help with these types of pain, as well as chronic medical issues. My practice offers highly effective techniques in a supportive and compassionate style.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnout, mentally or physically exhausted? Are you struggling with anxiety and can’t seem to manage mood swings? Unable to achieve your goals due to lack of attention span and decreased motivation? There may be many contributing factors complicating your situation such as unresolved conflicts from childhood, substance abuse and interpersonal relationships. It may also be quite scary to seek medications and treatment for things you can feel but not see. But let me tell you- we are not our brains! Rather we are affected by the way how our brain functions and we all depend on the healthy flow of neurotransmitters to function and to thrive. Some brains produce these naturally, while others require some assistance and that’s nobody’s fault- same way that it is not an individuals fault for producing less insulin or thyroid hormone. So let’s aim to resolve these mental health issues together with holistic and integrative methods. As a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, graduate of Vanderbilt University and with over a decade of experience, I am well versed in evaluating, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders for children, adolescents and adults. I am truly committed to provide exceptional and high-quality psychiatric care. Utilizing extensive expertise and evidence-based practices to enhance mental health across the lifespan and eliminate disparities. Passionate about making a positive impact on individuals’ well-being.
Are you struggling with what you should eat and feeling frustrated by your body? I work with people who are ready to stop feeling anxious and self-critical about their bodies and want to develop an enjoyable relationship with food. I also specialize in helping athletes and performers learn the skills and strategies they need to feel comfortable in their bodies and thrive in their sport or performing art.
My therapeutic approach centers on the holistic well-being of individuals, with a particular focus on working with millennial female clients. My aim is to facilitate, through a strengths-based approach, your therapeutic journey towards enhanced well-being and deeper insight into your thoughts and behaviors (as well as understanding the roots of our cognitive and behavioral patterns). While my therapeutic toolbox encompasses Reiki, EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness techniques, I customize therapy sessions to suit each individual, allowing for flexibility beyond these established frameworks. I'm licensed in CO, TX, MT, OR, ID, WY, WA, and FL.
I bring an intrinsic, compassionate, and creative presence to every individual I work with, honoring the richness of their story and lived experience. It is my heartfelt commitment to create a space of cultural humility and inclusivity, one where every identity is cherished and each voice remains at the center of the healing journey. My work is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and clinical integrity, meeting people gently and wholeheartedly exactly where they are. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you discover your own capacity for growth and transformation.

Given my diverse educational, training, and teaching experiences, I am able to understand high achieving young adults from a unique perspective. I feel I am the best fit for young adults who are multi-dimensional, high achieving, and are motivated to make a change. I have a very limited private practice, and only take on patients who are interested in working on their whole self from a mental health perspective. I provide both psychotherapy and medication management (if needed). As a double boarded physician specializing in psychiatry, I have extensive training in both pediatric and adult psychopharmacology. From a psychotherapy perspective, I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy and existential psychotherapy. On the personal side, I am originally from Texas, am Indian- American, and enjoy being outdoors, writing fiction and sipping on a good boba tea. My patients tell me I have a witty sense of humor, so if you can handle that, please reach out and lets see if we can work together!
Welcome - I'm Kate! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Katie Nix, MA, LPC- Supervisor. I work at The Well Therapy Group in uptown Dallas and have the privilege of working with adolescent and young adult women on their healing journey. My passion lies in helping clients navigate the challenges most common in this life stage, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and interpersonal relationship struggles. I offer a space that is gentle, non-judgmental, and rooted in compassion—where clients are empowered to stop apologizing for what’s outside their control and begin turning that energy inward, toward healing and self-acceptance. Whether you choose to meet in-person at my Uptown Dallas office or virtually from anywhere in Texas, I’m here to walk alongside you. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I’m honored to support you—wherever you are—as you step into authorship of your own story.
This space is yours—a place where we can talk openly, without judgment, and work together to understand what’s going on and how to move forward in a way that feels right for you. In our first few sessions, we’ll get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to learn about your background and goals, and you can ask me anything about how I work or what to expect from therapy. There's no pressure to share everything all at once—this is your process, and we’ll go at your pace. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and supported.
