I'm committed to helping people in building (or rebuilding) a life worth living, however they define it. Whether you're looking for a way forward after a loss, struggling to adjust to a new situation, or just feeling overwhelmed, you don't have to face it alone. With a therapeutic approach informed by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, I tailor interventions to suit each person's unique needs and goals. I believe in the importance of not just having the words to describe our emotions and the skills to manage them, but in understanding where our emotions are coming from in the first place. I'm especially passionate about supporting students and young professionals as they navigate the ups and downs of emerging adulthood. Therapy is most effective when it's with a provider you connect with. Schedule a consultation to see if I'd be the right therapist for you.

Hey, I’m so glad you’re here! Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re driven and expected to hold it all together. I work with holistic-minded adults, including entrepreneurs, professionals, athletes, neurodivergent individuals, transgendered individuals, and those with chronic illness or invisible disabilities, exploring identity, creativity, or burnout. I’m very laid back; come as you are. Curse, wear pajamas, lay in bed, be human. This is a space where you don’t have to perform, just show up. Only rule: please don’t drive during sessions or do anything that could harm yourself or others.
Best fit for individuals experiencing stress, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, as well as support with parenting challenges and life transitions. Main treatment models I provide are CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as well as CPT (Cognitive processing therapy) which is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD. Together, we can explore solutions and positive growth. A brief therapy model is NOT compatible treatment for crisis, psychiatric emergencies, legal issues, active addictions, severe and persistent mental illness including suicidal or self-injurious behavior, nor those with histories of recent hospitalizations.

I work well with many clients, but the following clients would get the most out of scheduling an appointment. A client who is trying to navigate through some significant life changes/stressors and who is clear that things need to change in their lives, but is not sure where to start. A client who needs guidance to steer themselves towards their life goals. I believe that there is seldom a "right way" to achieve a certain outcome, and treatment needs to be tailored to a client's needs. I can offer more structured approaches, such as CBT, or less structured approaches, such as existential therapy.
I'm a psychotherapist working with people who are ready to make positive changes in their life but somehow continue to feel stuck. If you want to learn strategies for healing from the mental, emotional and lifestyle issues that hold you back, then I can help. My clinical expertise is working with survivors of trauma, sex abuse, social injustice, and domestic violence. I also work with individuals, couples, and families on building healthy relationships, coping with loss, overcoming anxiety and depression, as well as issues specifically relating to the LGBTQ population. If are ready to embark on a journey of transformation into being your most authentic, emotionally balanced and life-embracing self, I will create a safe, compassionate space for you to do this crucial recovery work. Let's talk!
