Many of my clients are often struggling with confidence, setting boundaries, and being in touch with their feelings and needs. I love supporting young adults who are navigating changing relationships, whether it is navigating new and old friendships, reconfiguring relationships with parents and/or figuring out how you want to show up in romantic relationships. I believe that every person has the capacity to grow, develop strengths and skills, heal wounds, and experience new levels of wholeness. Therapy can be a catalyst for these changes; a place to be fully seen, known, and equipped. I work with women to uncover and correct unhelpful coping patterns and belief systems, create sustainable habits for mind-body-spirit wellness, establish healthy attachments in relationships, and foster a strong sense of resilience in the midst of challenges and traumas. My experience includes helping women navigate transitions and stressors related to college and post-college life, career goals or disappointments, work-life balance, identity and purpose, marriage and singleness, perinatal mood disorders, anxiety, and depression. Healing and hope occur in relationship; not isolation. Counseling is a safe space where you can share your burden with an empathetic helper attuned to your needs. I would be honored to hear your story and partner with you in your journey.
I work with variety of clients, but most of my clients come to me for help with relationship issues -- significant other, friend, family and work relationships. College students often come to me with issues related to roommates, gaining independence from parents, anxiety related to overwhelming school work, career choices and figuring out who they are. College years can be an amazing time of growth and opportunity, but they can also be incredibly stressful. I love to help college students navigate and find their ways through the many twists and turns of college life. (In MI, a Limited License Psychologist can practice under the supervision of a Fully Licensed Psychologist. Supervisor: Joseph J. Horak, PhD, LP)

I've spent many years working in different college counseling centers and have a true love for the college population - so much is happening in emerging adulthood, especially figuring out who you are and what you want life to look like. Because of increased stress and responsibilities, it is also a time where mental health concerns can either emerge for the first time or increase in their severity. I find great joy in getting to be a supportive space and teammate for folks navigating this incredibly rich period of life.
