Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.

I believe that therapy is a safe and non-judgmental place for clients to explore what is most important to them. It is important to me to relate to clients as whole people, who are much more than the concerns they bring to session, but people with unique identities, experiences, relationships, communities, and strengths. Keeping all of these in mind helps me offer personalized guidance, support, and perspective that ultimately serves client’s own goals. It is truly an honor to witness these various facets of individuals, and I am dedicated to bringing the warmth, respect, and support that clients deserve in turn. My past experiences have been in community settings working with women diverted from the criminal justice system for substance use disorder treatment and working with people with severe and persistent mental illness. Outside of the mental health/behavioral health field, I have experience supporting elderly persons with dementia and doing research with chronic pain populations along with LGBTQ+ populations.

Hi there! I am a mental health therapist (LMSW) who offers virtual appointments only, with some flexibility for weekday and/or weekend scheduling. I have limited capacity to accommodate emergency sessions. I currently work with adult individuals only. I am an unambiguously Black, pansexual, cis-presenting, able bodied femme who understands and emphasizes the importance of intersectionality within mental health. Born and raised in Detroit, I have a thorough understanding of the environmental obstacles marginalized folx are challenged with when exploring the state of their mental health. I uphold the belief that exploration and management of mental health is a life-long journey, and I take pride in being able to assist on this journey. I have an eclectic approach to mental health, including the promotion of methods for holistic health. My areas of focus include creating safe spaces for Black folx, POC, non-monogamous folx, and those in the LGBTQIA2SP+ communities. I provide talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral informed therapy (DBT-informed), motivational interviewing (MI), and solution-focused therapy models. While these are my current areas of comfort, I am open to exploring additional modalities that may be of interest to clients. Therapy is a collaborative space, and I treat it as such. Other areas of focus include treatments for anxiety, depression, fat acceptance/liberation, intersectional stigmas, ableism, ageism, sexism, womanism, mindfulness, sexual liberation, sexual health, communication skills, academics, life skills, religious trauma, and the importance of Black femmes putting their cape down and resting. I look forward to being part of your healing process.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of school, grades, social groups and trying to keep up with everything you're supposed to be doing? Maybe you find yourself comparing yourself to others, wondering if you're falling behind or not doing enough? Maybe you’re overwhelmed by school, work, family expectations, pressures of needing to know your life goals or all of it at once. You might feel stuck and need some support and or just exhausted trying to balance everything. Whether you're navigating college or grad school, exploring relationships, or dealing with family pressures, I’m here to walk alongside you. If you’re in that in-between space, thinking you need to have things figured out, questioning yourself, or just trying to keep up, I get it. Therapy can be a space to unpack and process, where you can slow down and start to explore what matters to you and what are some patterns that may be holding you back. You're not alone if you're asking questions like: "Am I doing enough?" "Why does everyone else seem to have it figured out?" "How do I make time for myself when everything feels urgent?" Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, grief, or the social exhaustion of trying to stay connected while also needing space this season of life is a lot. In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are. I offer a space where you can show up as yourself. I believe in being real with you, validating what’s hard, and gently helping you explore what feels stuck or confusing. We’ll talk about things like identity, relationships, stress, loss, and how to care for yourself even when everything feels like it’s moving fast. Whether you’re feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, or just trying to figure out your next steps, my intention is to walk with you and offer a steady, supportive space to explore, grow, and heal. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan with a specialization in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health and Mental Health and completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University. I draw from a person-centered approach, believing that my clients are the experts in their own lives. My role is to offer support, perspective, and tools as we work collaboratively toward your goals.

Ready to unf#ck your nervous system? Let’s be completely real, you can’t think your way out of a survival response. If analyzing your childhood or making endless coping-skill lists worked, you wouldn't be reading this right now. Numbing out, doom-scrolling, or pushing through the exhaustion makes complete sense, until it doesn't.I don't do standard talk therapy. I don't sit silently while you vent for 50 minutes just to tell you to breathe. At The Unfiltered Couch Counseling, we go straight to the root, in your body. When you are stuck in constant survival mode, chronic illness flares up, burnout takes over, and your brain feels constantly foggy. Using specialized somatic approaches like Brainspotting, EMDR, and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), we target where stress and trauma are physically trapped in your nervous system. We clear out the heavy, physical weight in your chest and stomach so your body finally gets the memo that the danger is over.If you are ready for raw honesty, deep somatic shifts, and a therapist who actually curses back, you’re in the right place. Let's get your system back online.

I enjoy working with clients who are seeking support through life’s challenges, particularly women navigating transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and perinatal loss. I also work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Clients who benefit most from my approach are open to exploring their experiences, learning new coping strategies, and fostering personal growth. I provide a compassionate, client-centered space, integrating evidence-based techniques to support healing and resilience. Beyond perinatal mental health, I have extensive experience in helping clients understand and manage mental health conditions while also educating their loved ones to foster supportive relationships. My practice also focuses on effective communication, relationship dynamics, grief and loss, and addiction recovery. My goal is to create a supportive, empowering environment where clients can build resilience, gain insight, and develop practical skills. If you're seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable therapist to support you through life's challenges, I invite you to reach out and begin your journey toward healing and growth. I am a part of a group practice that is 100% women owned and operated called The Flourishing Collective. We value relationships and have a commitment to our own therapy and healing work. We believe this makes us better therapists. We value therapy and consultation. We do not ask our clients to do anything that we are not willing to do ourselves. My idea of successful therapy includes you walking out with new ideas and new ways of doing things that fit your personal values and bring you happiness. It is my passion and privilege to join in this journey with you. I provide therapy services for adults, adolescents, and children. I have participated in several trainings over the years centered on play and art therapy techniques.
