Calling all stressed-out, anxious Jewish college students! You’re figuring out who you are—while juggling exams, dating apps, and the gnawing feeling that the world is falling apart. Add in questions about your Jewish identity, complicated family dynamics, and maybe a roommate who thinks antisemitism ended in 1945—and it’s a lot. You don’t have to process it alone. Therapy can be a place to bring your spiraling thoughts, perfectionism, existential dread, and hope for the future. You deserve a life free from the constant grip of anxiety. My clients finish their sessions feeling more at peace, more centered, and less tense in their bodies. Through our work, they become less critical of themselves. They learn how to manage difficult emotions. They also feel a sense of belonging. You’ll learn how to set healthy boundaries and ask for what you need more easily. You can rediscover pleasure in intimacy with your partner and grow more confident in expressing your needs. Weekends will bring laughter again, and work will start to feel rewarding instead of draining. You’ll be able to focus on your goals and tackle that To-Do list without spiraling into panic or curling up on the couch. You can step into the present moment with calm, clarity, and confidence.

Everyone lives a diverse, intersectional existence with idiosyncratic experience. Acknowledging this means relating to others with inclusivity, openness, and humility. This philosophy not only humanizes students, many of whom identify as marginalized community members (e.g., BIPOC, LGBTQ+, accessibility needs, low-SES), but also honors their authenticity. Thus, I practice from an existential-humanistic-relational lens so I can naturally tailor therapy with evidence-based techniques (e.g., CBT, SFT, ACT) and psychological theories (e.g., identity, attachment, multicultural) necessary for understanding students’ intersectionality. I typically work with students experiencing elevated anxiety and depression, while specializing in identity development, interpersonal dynamics (e.g., relating to others), relational trauma, and existential concerns (e.g., authenticity, choice, meaning). Early sessions help form a therapeutic alliance, revealing underlying issues that manifest as psychological distress (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma). From there, we identify coping skills, foster hope, and alleviate symptoms as you gain insight-oriented feedback. We also collaborate to explore, discover, and empower actions for you to become the most authentic version of self. The modern world is daunting, with a pace and pivot difficult to navigate. The rapid spin of sudden chaos. Steady drift of aimless wander. Dead still of eternal stagnation. As a serving spirit, I provide a healthy space for students to be and become that who they are and will be. Here, all are welcome. Here… all are an expression of hope and self-empowerment.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, CAADC with over 15 years of experience. I have specialized knowledge in trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance use. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Internal family Systems, (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidenced based intervention for working with individuals who have experienced trauma or disturbing events in their lives that keep them stuck. EMDR quickly moves an individual through disturbing events and negative self-beliefs, to positive self-beliefs, eliminating emotional distress. I believe improved quality of life, emotional, physical, and social, can be achieved by building upon your strengths and providing you a safe, supportive, nonjudgement environment, while respecting your hopes, dreams, and desires. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, families and the LGBTQ+ community obtain the quality of life they deserve through their healing process. If you do not have the quality of life you deserve, there is hope. It would an honor to assist you with achieving the happy, healthy, and purpose driven life, with quality relationships, that you so deserve.

Hi, I’m Dallas, a counseling graduate intern at Resilience Counseling & Play Therapy. I work with children, teens, young adults, and college students who may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, stuck, or uncertain about life’s next steps. College can bring a lot of pressure balancing academics, relationships, work, family expectations, and mental health all at once. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I enjoy helping students navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress management, and emotional struggles that can interfere with daily life and success in school. I also have experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, and family stressors. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to talk openly, build healthy coping skills, gain confidence, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace. Whether you are struggling with something specific or simply feeling emotionally exhausted, you do not have to figure it out alone.

At Willow Birch Therapy, our mission is to foster healing and growth by recognizing that emotional struggles, like the branches of a tree, extend from the deeply rooted experiences and traumas hidden beneath the surface. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore and understand these roots, finding the strength and resilience they need to flourish.
Living in your body may feel exhausting, unfamiliar, or even unsafe. Trauma, relationship harm, health changes or chronic illness, and struggles with body image and eating can leave us feeling disconnected and stuck between overwhelm and shutdown. I offer a warm, grounded presence where you can feel seen and begin cultivating a deeper sense of self-trust and wholeness - a space to explore lived experiences and learn supportive wellness practices. I work with busy students who are carrying the weight of stress, trauma, and grief while navigating immense transitions and responsibilities. Many of my clients are healing from sexual violence, emotional relationship harm, chronic/invisible illness and health-related changes (migraines, endometriosis, PCOS, POTS, cancer), and concerns around relationship with body and food, including disordered eating. I've supported students and young adults for over a decade, with many years of experience working in a college specialty counseling clinic. I use a mind-body approach that blends somatic (body-based), cognitive, and mindfulness practices including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping). This helps us understand ourselves with compassion, cope with emotional overwhelm and physical body discomfort, heal from trauma, and reconnect to relationships and activities that nourish us. I find great joy in serving multicultural and multi-faith communities while providing a weight-inclusive, culturally-affirming, and trauma-informed space where all parts of you are welcome.
